We Did Vote, By The Way

We were in the car with the babes loaded up on our way to the polling place before we asked each other who we were voting for. Initially we canceled each other out, but arrived at a consensus in time to cast our ballots. Once again, the kids saw the process. I didn't vote until I was well into my 20s. I don't intend our kids to be passive in that way. They will see every year, and be involved in the discussion as soon as they are old enough to understand.

So sorry that I did not get involved or politically active until I retired...just so busy with kids, job and keeping life going. I did try to vote on a regular basis. I really love going to long range planning now and learning about local and national politics. It helps to have a lawyer in the group to give an added view-point. I did take you with me when I voted when you were little. Can't imagine your little ones not interested with two grandpas so active in the process of voting.
Loved the latest picture of Monito..he looks so big!

OK, give over -- who did you vote for?? British media is obsessed with these primaries, as am I. What a drama! My Dad voted Obama, and I think I would have gone that way too, but I have no good reason for that.
