- I entered parenthood in 2006 at the ripe old age of 37. I am grateful every day that I didn't try this in my early twenties. After 4+ years of grueling infertility, my partner, Homestead Mama, and I are learning humility and patience in the presence of Pequita, born 10/06 and Monito, born 6/07. The existing pack of dogs and cats have generously accepted them into the fold, but are still wondering why we allowed anyone this loud into the house.

HM -- they are so BIG! I have thought that with the last few pics. Where did your babies go? They look about ready for SCHOOL! (Gotta love that they are partners, so cute, when not the one in charge of discipline.)
I know! They totally seem ready for school. I love that the kids are big and healthy, but seriously, it seems that overnight they have grown up. It happened when we switched to winter clothes somehow.
