My beloved friends moved just over the border into Canada several years ago. (This is a sad but common problem in a college town.). We try to see them as much as possible, but this has manifested in once or twice a year, given all the babies/ toddlers in out lives. They were to come here this week, but had to cancel. The need to see them was so great that we are currently on our way up to St. Catharine's for the long weekend. We are all terribly excited. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
I'm a suburban woman on a quest for the simple life on our 10 acres in the Fingerlakes region of New York. I am living the dream and staying home to raise my two kids while my wife and I try to renovate our 150 year old farmhouse and keep the grapevines from consuming the house. We are a free-range family, and I spend my days with the kids crafting, gardening, canning fruit, and keeping the peace. Some days I'm lucky enough to fit in a little knitting.
