And did you notice that Monito has graduated to sitting up by himself in the neglecto-saucer? This means my hands will be free sometimes. Joy! (Mixed with horror and sadness that he is so big already.)

Big doesn't even begin to describe this child. Monstrous comes close. I'm not sure how to position his limbs when I hold him in a way that wouldn't freak out even the best contortionist! But holy goodness is he just the most precious little buddha I ever did love... xxx
I'm a suburban woman on a quest for the simple life on our 10 acres in the Fingerlakes region of New York. I am living the dream and staying home to raise my two kids while my wife and I try to renovate our 150 year old farmhouse and keep the grapevines from consuming the house. We are a free-range family, and I spend my days with the kids crafting, gardening, canning fruit, and keeping the peace. Some days I'm lucky enough to fit in a little knitting.
