Safety Net
Around Christmastime I realized that if Homestead Mama met an untimely demise, I'd be jobless in a recession with no huge stock portfolio or trust fund with which to support my kids in the manner to which they have become accustomed. They may love the Zoom-ah Cah (Mazda in Monito-speak) but after living in it for a few weeks they would likely have tired of it. So we signed up for life insurance for us both. I am actually sleeping better because of this. It was overdue by about 3 years.
