- I'm a suburban woman on a quest for the simple life on our 10 acres in the Fingerlakes region of New York. I am living the dream and staying home to raise my two kids while my wife and I try to renovate our 150 year old farmhouse and keep the grapevines from consuming the house. We are a free-range family, and I spend my days with the kids crafting, gardening, canning fruit, and keeping the peace. Some days I'm lucky enough to fit in a little knitting.

No, it's me checking, too, if we haven't had time to talk on the phone for a while. I laughed and shuddered at Griffin & Maya accepting the package for you - so helpful aren't they? Calder helped Rosalind across the living room and into his bedroom the other day and I am still not sure how. "Some of her was on the floor Mommy, and some of her was up in my arms."

You are on my list of regular (read: obsessive) website checks between my hotmail and craigslist. Glad I made an appearance on your blog! We carved pumpkins here tonight too. I think I will come over in my Smurfette costume this week to play with the kids. :)
